Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Runcorn

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming mainstream primary school in Runcorn. This is a full-time role running until the end of the academic year.
The position is a hybrid role, providing both:
1:1 support for a pupil with Speech & Language (S&L) difficulties, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop communication skills
General classroom support, assisting the class teacher with group work, behaviour, daily routines and whole-class activities as required
The Role Includes:
Delivering tailored strategies to support Speech & Language development
Using visual aids, scaffolding and targeted interventions
Supporting personal, social and emotional development in the Early Years environment
Assisting with classroom setup, activities and maintaining a positive learning environment
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team
The successful candidate Will:
Have experience working with Early Years children and pupils with SEN
Have, or willing to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
Be able to adapt to the needs of the child and the class
Have strong communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a team
