S Knights Recruitment are a specialist Employability & Skills Recruitment Agency. We recruit for Colleges and Training Providers across the UK.

We are proud to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a remote basis, full-time, permanent position. This role is working with an independent training provider specialising in Health and Social Care and Childcare delivery. As well as delivering accredited qualifications to unemployed and employed people they are also involved in delivering upskilling courses to in-house staff based in care homes and domiciliary care. They are looking for a Business Development Manager who will approach and build relationships with organisations such as care homes and sell their upskilling courses in the work place to ensure all staff have all necessary training to be qualified for their job as a carer. It will be a home based role, with travel required to meet with clients and build relationships with.

The roles and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager are as follows:

*Promote the organisations upskilling programmes/courses to care homes or health care employers to make sales
*Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders 
*Understanding and creating plans for the external stakeholders to outline the benefits of the programmes/courses to their business
*Complete admin tasks when necessary e.g. regularly updating the CRM systems with new details, completing relevant paperwork etc

The Business Development Manager will require the following skills and experience:
*Occupational competence in the Health and social care sector
*Experience working in a sales or recruitment background especially experience selling training programmes
*Understanding the importance of upskilling and further training to ensure all care staff are qualified to complete their jobs inline with safeguarding requirements
*Hold a full UK driving licence
*Experience working towards targets and KPIs
