Apprenticeship Development Coach / Assessor: Leadership and Management 

Remote Based - Multiple Roles Available

Salary up to £35,000

 INTRO

  • We have a Remote based opportunity for an Apprenticeship Development Coach, to join a Quality focused, 'Good' rated Training Provider Organisation who specialise in Leadership and Management Programmes. 
  • This role will involve taking on a caseload of Apprentices, mainly on the Operations/Departmental Manager Level 5, Team Leading and also potentially the Women in Leadership Level 5 standards.
  • This role focuses on the coaching and support of Apprentices - You will plan, prepare, train and assess learner competence and improve skills, knowledge and behaviours relating to learning outcomes.
  • Delivery of Functional Skills is an important part of the role (support is provided), and whilst some training / workshop delivery is part of the role, you will also work in partnership with specialist L&M trainers who will undertake key parts of the delivery. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for the following criteria:

  • An Assessor qualification is essential (e.g. D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA) 
  • Significant occupational experience in Management is required.
  • A Verification or quality assurance qualification is desirable, but not required.
  • A Leadership and Management Level 5 qualification is desirable.
  • A teaching quaalification is desirable.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Programme inductions: Setting clear expectations, providing a detailed explanation around all aspects of the programme
  • Identify individual support needs through thorough analysis of initial and diagnostic assessments, tailoring support and planning additional support interventions as required.
  • Set and review SMART targets on assessment plans with clear guidance and timebound deadlines.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to all apprentices, assisting with the delivery and application of new learning.
  • Conduct regular assessment of learner’s knowledge, skills and behaviour against the relevant apprenticeship standard
  • Provide meaningful and stretching feedback to learners to challenge and motivate them in their learning.
  • Ensure learners have successfully completed their learning in line with their anticipated completion dates.
  • Carry out progress reviews.
  • Provide learner progress updates in line with agreed caseload and performance review cycles.
  • Deliver and achieve learner’s functional skills within the first 7 months on programme.
  • Act on quality and compliance feedback.
  • Work in partnership with allocated trainers to deliver a seamless customer journey focused on achieving learner outcomes.
  • Plan visits effectively with learners to ensure a thorough understanding of their qualifications, progress and what will be covered at each visit.
