Accountancy Trainer / Assessor (AAT)

Job Title: Accountancy Trainer / Assessor (AAT)

Location: Remote with potential travel as required if learners require extra support  

Salary: up to £45,000 (Depending on experience)

Type: x2 positions available (x1 12 month FTC; x1 Full Time, Permanent)

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold own Level 4 Teaching qualification or above (CTLLS/CertEd) or equivalent.
  • Must hold own Level 4 AAT qualification or above.
  • Must have occupational competency within Accountancy.
  • Experience / exposure of teaching, coaching or assessing on the Accountancy Apprenticeship Standards at Level 4 or above.

Duties include:

  • Deliver engaging training sessions and assess a caseload of remote learners working towards Accountancy Apprenticeships at Level 4 (or Level 7 if competent)
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
  • Support learners to achieve Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Deliver a blended learning approach with the majority of delivery taking place remotely together with face-to-face visits only as required
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs
