Our client is an award winning Training Provider organisations, who specialise in providing Employer solutions through various programmes including Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

This organisation is currently going through an exciting period of growth, and as part of this they have 2 new vacancies for Business Development / Employer Engagement Executives to join their team ... The purpose of the roles to produce and convert high quality employer leads to increase the Apprenticeship offer across the Midlands... This is a great oppoortiunity to join a talented team within a successful, growing company!

The Business Development Executives will be Home / Field based (Midlands) with 1 day per week in the office (Derby) ..


CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Ideally come from an apprenticeships/work based learning background
  • Recent sales experience, preferably in field based role
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills including Zoom /Teams / Skype etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of customer service 
  • High degree of accuracy and data management within a CRM
  • Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Stong persuasion, influencing and negotiaton skills at all levels 

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Contacting businesses and private individuals by telephone, face to face meetings to promote apprenticeships and traineeships
  • Promote services and training solutions to potential customers
  • Handle inbound client queries and convert into sales opportunities
  • Conduct business needs analysis to secure suitable skills/commercial opportunities
  • Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered
  • Review and develop regional engagement plan based on local labour market demands
  • Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by colleagues
  • Use of initiative to identify opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
  • Achieve personal and department KPI targets set by the business on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Complete necessary paperwork to high standards to ensure compliance with funding body requirements
