Contract Type: Permanent and Full-Time Hours: 37 hours per week

SGS College have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant 1 at our Filton campus. Our current vacancy is focused on the following working pattern:

Monday 10:30 till 18:30

Tuesday 13:30 till 21:30

Wednesday 13:30 till 21:30

Thursday 13:30 till 21:30

Friday 11:00 till 18:30

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

❖ Providing a swift & courteous response to customer needs, providing advice, guidance and information to staff, learners, visitors and external users of facilities

❖ Managing completion of basic maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, PPM inspections

❖ Contractor supervision & access and maintaining security of campus and assets

❖ Play an active role in Safeguarding of learners and visitors

❖ Work as a key holder which could result in out of hour's attendance

❖ You may be required to work at any of the College sites

❖ At times, you will be the key representative of the College and will be required to deal with unexpected issues to a satisfactory conclusion. In the event of serious concerns, you will have access to senior staff who may be off-site.
