Here at The Sheffield College we have a fabulous opportunity for Systems Integration Developer to join the IT Systems team. As the Systems Integration Developer, you will play a pivotal role in IT Systems department, helping shape and direct the department to success and achieving new goals for the College. The role of Systems Integration Developer will encompass both internal software and systems development alongside integration with 3rd party software such as Tribal EBS (Student records system), Unit4 ABW (Finance), MHR iTrent (Human Recourses). The role will cover development, testing, implementation & support activities relating to integration, in-house development & scripting projects. These innovative projects require communication skills, problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, trained in programming languages & data structures and knowledge of best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

* English & mathematics at Level 2
* Degree Level Qualification or equivalent in an IT related field e.g. IT Computer Science

Experience and Knowledge

* Experience in integration and/or programming background, preferably in an education environment
* Experience with API protocols and schemas - SOAP/REST
* PHP or Cold Fusion or .NET ASP
* Understanding of database design and management along with TSQL experience - MSSQL preferred
* Proven record of implementing and helping the business adopt a wide variety of IT solutions as part of a digital workplace.
* Experience of Agile methodologies
* Strong technology and systems analysis background.
* Ability to write, collate and present reports.
