We are seeking to appoint an experienced Counsellor and Wellbeing Officer to join our Student Services team. Do you enjoy working with young people and are you passionate about helping them reach their full potential, have a passion or interest in the environment, then Capel Manor College is the right place for you!

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, compassion, be able to work in collaboration with all teams and have previous experience of working with young people who may have mental health, learning difficulties or disabilities, wellbeing or personal development issues.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified counsellor and have previously worked in an educational setting and supported young people with personal development and wellbeing. They will have a good understanding of Safeguarding, Prevent, equality and diversity policies and procedures, be able to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the service.

This post is 5 days per week, based 3 days at our Gunnersbury Park Centre (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days at our Mottingham Centre (Monday and Friday). Applications from candidates interested in a fractional post at a single centre will be considered, please state on your application whether you wish to apply for 5 day per week or a fractional post and if applying for a fractional post please state which centre you are interested in.
