APPRENTICESHIP MANAGER - NORTH WEST - £34,000
plus excellent, large company benefits package

Essential Qualities:

You must have recently held a managerial role within apprenticeships. Within this role you will have been responsible for a team of trainers and assessors. Maybe you've been an Apprenticeship Manager, a Work Based Learning Manager, Lead IQA, Quality Manager etc.

You will still have the fire in you to want to make a difference and always be striving to take your projects to the next level.

You will have experience of performance managing a team so that KPIs are always achieved.

Quality will have been part of your remit. You'll be au fait with the workings of Ofsted and you'll be fully conversant in what you need to do to ensure that guidelines and compliance is adhered to and every aspect of your team and the work they do can only be described as excellent.

You'll be innovative. You will be only too aware that the face of employment and technology changes so quickly and training has to be constantly reviewed and renewed to ensure the training your learners receive is not only effective but up to date.

Learner retention will be something you will be focused on. You will know instinctively what steps must be taken to ensure that a learner stays and completes their studies and have a track record which demonstrates great learner retention.

Of course, it goes without saying that you will be someone who has come up through the ranks and will have started their career within apprenticeships as a trainer assessor and will have progressed their career to one of a manager of people and processes. This means you will understand the challenges faced by trainers and assessors and you'll be able to show empathy. Similarly, you will know what excellent training delivery looks like and be able to guide your team towards that as an end goal.
