Salary: Up to £9.40 per hour

City College Southampton is looking to recruit two or three Temporary Bursary Assistants to help the student financial support function during a busy 4 week enrolment period. Reporting to the Bursary Officer they will be assisting the Bursary Officer to ascertain student eligibility for financial support via the online application system, ordering and issuing bus passes and kit.

The hours are up to 30 hours per week with a potential for additional hours. Full or part time candidates are welcome but the applicant must be available to work from 17th August 2020 for a period of up to four weeks.

Candidates will need to have GCSE Maths to at least grade C and be confident in a customer service environment. Good IT skills are also required as most of the work will be online.

Experience of student financial support in the Education sector would be desirable, but more importantly the individual will have a commitment to the organisation and a hands-on approach supporting students and ensuring the right financial support is issued.
