Health & Safety Trainer - Nottinghamshire (Regional Role) - £27,000 - £29,000 (DOE) / 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, potential career progression opportunities into managerial roles.

The Role: Health & Safety Trainer

• If you are working within Health & Safety as a Trainer, or Health & Safety forms a major part of your role and you'd like to become a Trainer, then this role could be for you.
• You will be managing your own diary and working from home. You will be travelling to meet your learners who are based around the Midlands. After your induction training, you will be supporting your learners to achieve their level 3 Health & Safety Environment Technician apprenticeship.
• You will be drawing upon your experience of working within Health & Safety to share your experience. You will be delivering workshop-style training sessions. Full training will be provided to help you.
• If you are not already a trainer you will be prepared to study for your training and assessing qualifications, which will be provided by on the job training.
• A DBS check is required.

Essential Requirements: Health & Safety Trainer

• You will have a strong hands-on track record within Health & Safety. This means your knowledge is practical, not just theoretical.
• You will understand Health & Safety practices and procedures and possess a formal Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH level 4.
• You will be a confident person, with good written and verbal communication skills. Maybe you've delivered some training to your colleagues or newcomers to the company, and you've enjoyed the job satisfaction from this.
• You will have your own vehicle and full, clean driving license and be prepared to travel.
• A DBS check will be required.

• An established training provider who has been operating very successfully within their specialist sector for nearly 10 years. Their key area of specialism is within the logistics, warehousing and distribution sectors. Because of their specialism, they have built a strong reputation within these areas and have become a favoured training provider for both large companies and smaller independents. Some of their larger clients are global manufacturing and distribution companies. Due to employer demand, they have just added a few new apprenticeships to their offering and this has necessitated the need for further expansion and recruitment of additional staff. As an accredited provider of teaching qualifications to level 5 (foundation degree level) they have a good track record in recruiting people with good occupational competence and then training them to become professional trainers.
