Job Title: Childcare Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
 
Location: Hertfordshire / North London - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £20,000 - £28,000 (Dependent on skills and experience)

We are delighted to offer this role as a Trainee Assessor, newly Qualified Assessor or fully up and running Qualified opportunity – our client is very flexible.
Full training and support will be provided for Trainee Assessors to achieve the Assessor Award.

Essential Criteria (for all candidates): 

- Must hold a minimum of 3 years Nursery Management experience.
- Confident to deliver Functional Skills in English and Maths to level 2.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.

Desirable:

- Ideally have experience of delivering Level 5 delivery - not essential, as long as you have management competency within Nursery Management.

Duties include:

- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeship Standards in Childcare from Level 3, to Level 5 CYP Management.
- Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths and English to level 2.
- Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
