We would like to speak with individuals who are currently working within a Childcare setting, who are looking for a new opportunity involving the training and development of future Childcare practitioners!

Job Title: Trainee Childcare Assessor
 
Location: West Wales - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £21,500 - £23,500 

Type: Full time, Permanent

- Assessors are based from home, planning own diary visiting learners in their place of work.

Essential Criteria:

- You must be a fluent Welsh speaker.
- Must hold solid occupational competency/hands on experience within Childcare.
- Must hold own Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent). 
- You must be confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Must be IT literate.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours due to some learners working late shifts.

Duties include:

- Delivering full Apprenticeships in Children's Care, Play and Learning & Development (Levels 2/3). 
- Deliver training and support learners with Essential Skills.
- Manage a caseload of learners, visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork and general administration.
