Job Title: Financial Services Assessor

Location: Regional role, to cover Central England – Must be flexible with travel


Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent upon qualifications & experience) + BONUS

As a result of continued growth, our client is looking to add an experienced Financial Services Apprenticeship Assessor to their established delivery team.


The role is home based, with the learner caseload located across multiple areas. Potential overnight stays will be required.


Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of learners working towards Apprenticeships (New Standards) in Financial Services (levels 3 and / or 4, depending on Assessor competency).
  • Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualification.
  • Delivering one-to-one and group sessions in the workplace.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
  • Must have experience of delivering full qualifications in Financial Services (Financial Services and Mortgage Adviser).
  • Must hold a Level 3 CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice).
  • Have solid occupational experience within Financial Services (Mortgages, Financial Advice or Financial Administration).
  • Experience of delivering training sessions within the workplace.
  • Hold a full, UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
