V Selective are recruiting on behalf of a Birmingham based charity who provide high quality training, that includes Apprenticeships, and other programmes accredited by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).  
They currently have a new exciting vacancy for a Training and Apprenticeships Manager to join and lead Training team. 

Job Purpose:

- To be responsible for the successful operation and performance of apprenticeships and qualification programmes run by the training department. 
- To develop and manage the delivery of high-quality training programmes, accredited qualifications and apprenticeships on a commercial basis.
- To lead the training team

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

- Have operational responsibility for apprenticeships and qualifications delivered by the organisation.
- Ensure the delivery of apprenticeship programmes and qualifications are successfully planned and delivered.
- Ensure all teaching and assessment delivery is conducted at consistently outstanding levels and that learner progression is a priority focus of all activity, meeting learners as part of the programme management function.
- Develop new training programmes including apprenticeships, housing qualifications and other courses.
- Ensure learner experience, satisfaction and achievement is monitored and tracked effectively and monitor ILR data.
- Line management of associate trainers / external resources. 
- Use data to manage provision to drive-up achievement rates and narrow achievement gaps.
- Ensure KPI’s and business objectives are achieved through participation and contribution to the board reporting process.
- Management and, where required, delivery of the IQA and EQA processes.
- Perform developmental and formal observations of tutors and support tutors to improve their practice.
- Identify areas of improvement and best practice and implement change accordingly
- Work closely with sales function to develop existing client accounts.
- Ensure compliance with funding rules and awarding organisations.
- Ensure data management systems are fully utilised, accurate and up to date, including the DAS and ILR systems.
- Oversee the Apprenticeship QIP and SAR process.
- To gain and maintain appropriate levels of accreditation for all courses with relevant accrediting bodies.
- To arrange contractual documentation between partners, clients and associate tutors and assessors.
- Complete necessary regulatory and other returns ready for signature to all appropriate bodies.
- Make recommendations for service development and strategic planning, where necessary to ensure the Association continues to meet the needs of its customers.
