Location: Northamptonshire - Candidates must be flexible with travel

Salary: up to £28,000

Type: Part-Time, 4 Month Contract

Our client has an urgent need for an experienced Level 5 Health and Social Care Assessor, who has previously worked as a Care Manager/Registered Manager (Residential Care setting) to support a cohort of approx 19 learners, to finish and achieve the Level 5 Health and Social Care award.


  • Assess and support learners through completion of Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
  • Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to level 2.
  • As part of the delivery, you will conduct group workshops, both face to face and online.
  • Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their qualification.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners, through to end point assessment.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33).
  • Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5.
  • Hold solid occupational experience of working within Health and Social Care / Elderly Care at Management level (Registered Manager / Residential Manager etc)
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours.

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.
