S Knights Recruitment is recruiting for an Level 3 motor vehicle assessor based in or commutable to. Our client is an Award winning, Ofsted 2, national training provider and they are looking at growing their NVQ Motor Vehicle delivery provision, with experienced and high calibre trainers.

Role and Responsibilities:

* The motor vehicle assessor will manage a caseload of approximately 30 - 45 learners and will deliver training on both commercial and work-based learning programmes. There will be 3 different learning modules you will be delivering on; Block release (1 company with all their learners doing the qualification), Day release (the learner will come to the training provider itself) and Work-based learning (visiting learners in their workplace).
* As the Motor vehicle assessor you will understand learner needs and support learners in overcoming any barriers during the qualification.
* The Motor vehicle assessor will have a high level of responsibility to make sure each learner goes through the motor vehicle standards effectively and successfully.
* The motor vehicle assessor will meet with the learners on a monthly basis and ensure learners complete their qualifications in a timely manner.
* As the motor vehicle assessor, you will gather and log the learner's training evidence towards the motor vehicle qualification on an E-portfolio system.

Experience and Skills:

* The Motor Vehicle Assessor will hold at least a level 3 in Light Motor vehicle, if candidates have a Heavy Motor Vehicle qualifications as well this is advantageous however not a requirement.
* The successful candidate will be a qualified trainer, with a recognised teaching or training certificate.
* Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of delivering an Apprenticeship in their background, however newly qualified trainers are also encouraged to apply.
