Quality & Compliance Manager - North West (Regional Role) - Up to £40,000 / 20 days holiday plus stats, 40p per mile travelling expenses, laptop, phone, etc., etc..

The Role: Quality & Compliance Manager

• Based in the Manchester area, you will be instrumental in the setting up of quality systems and processes for this training provider. This company want to do things particularly well so the foundations of that goal is to employ a commercially astute, well organised, detail-focused Quality Manager who brings with them a wealth of knowledge and the capacity to make things happen.
• You will be responsible for managing, motivating and coaching a team of mainly IT and digital trainers and assessors to ensure they work in a quality-driven way. This will involve commuting around the North West region where employers and learners are based.
• It will be your remit to undertake learner progress reviews to ensure timely completions, undertake case reviews, undertake observations of trainers and assessors to ensure their professional skills are constantly developed ensuring enhanced training delivery and high completion rates are achieved.
• Performance managing your team you will be reviewing their workload, their quality and their output via the monitoring of KPIs. You will know how an effective trainer assessor works because you will have done that role yourself at some point in your career.

Essential Requirements: Quality & Compliance Manager

• A formal IQA qualification is absolutely essential. No candidates will be considered without it.
• A background either as a trainer or as an IQA within the IT sector up to level 4 is vital too. Ideally, this will be across a broad suite of IT and digital apprenticeships.
• You will previously been either an IQA or Quality Manager and you will have performance managed a team of trainers assessors. You will have worked on the New Standards and be totally au fait with all that needs to be in place or to take place to ensure a successful Ofsted.
• You will be adept at implementing robust, highly effective quality systems and procedures. This will involve preparing a training provider for an Ofsted Inspection and ensuring Action Plans are followed through and changes that need to be made are communicated effectively throughout the company at all levels.
• You must be able to drive and possess your own transportation.
