Business Assurance Officer

What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Responsible for ensuring that the organisation and its subcontractors have robust systems of internal control
• Management of information security incidents, implementing corrective actions and improvements
• Auditing internal and subcontractor controls and informing improvement actions
• Data protection officer duties ensuring compliance to GDPR and associated data protection legislation

What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
• Working knowledge of ISO27001:2013 and ISO9001
• Experience of conducting audits and risk assessments
• Experience of developing security information management systems
• Experience of implementing systems
Desirable criteria
• Welsh speaking
• Experience within training and WBL industry
• ISO27001 – Lead Implementer qualification
• ISO27001 – Auditor qualification

This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company
Salary Banding: £30,000
Location: Cardiff
