IT Trainer / Assessor - Home-based covering Midlands (Regional Role) - £30k - £35k (DOE & Qualifications), 20 days holiday + bank (increasing on time served) / Mileage Paid for travels (40p), Working equipment provided, Perk Box and Pension Scheme.

The Role: IT Trainer / Assessor

• We are looking for either a qualified IT trainer/assessor or an IT industry professional with training experience to deliver and assess on IT based apprenticeships programmes and qualifications.
• This is a home-based position, you will be responsible for a caseload of 30-35 apprentices on a wide variety of IT apprenticeship programmes including, Software Development, Technical Infrastructure, Telecoms, Network Engineering to name a few.
• The successful candidate will be covering the Midlands region for your caseload so you will be required to manage your own time and diary when visiting your learners within the workplace and utilising distance learning with apprentices using online tools including Skype, along with a flexible approach to traveling.
• A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.

Essential Requirements: IT Trainer / Assessor

• Strong industry background within IT (within Software Development & Testing roles would be advantageous)
• Hold either an Assessor (A1, TAQA) or Teaching (PTLLS min) Qualifications OR WILLING TO WORK TOWARDS.
• Experience in a teaching or trainer position (solely or within an industry role)
• Hold relevant IT industry qualifications
• Hold a UK Driver Licence and access to own vehicle for travel

Desirables: IT Trainer / Assessor

• Hold Microsoft Qualifications

The company is also able to say that they are a Microsoft Silver partner along with being Matrix Accredited. If that isn’t enough, in a recent ESFA Audit they achieved 99%.
