Engineering Assessor - Birmingham (Regional Role) - Up to £28,000 / Mileage 45p / Career progression in a unique college in a rapidly growing industry.

The Role: Engineering Assessor

• We are looking for a qualified and experienced Engineering Assessor to deliver and asses a variety of engineering apprenticeships across multi-disciplines. You will be delivering these in the learners' workplace with the occasional meetings at the college campus.
• You will be required to provide support for the quality assurance of engineering programmes, ensuring learners achieve their qualifications in the time scale allowed.
• You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience delivering with a detailed knowledge of apprenticeship programs for Engineering subjects. Experience training and assessing in a multi-skilled range of Engineering subjects.
• A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.

Essential Requirements: Engineering Assessor

• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Engineering
• Hold a relevant assessor qualification (TAQA) and Level 2 in Mathematics and English or willing to work towards
• The successful candidate will be an Engineering professional with a strong background across Engineering
• Delivery of training and assessing in a multi-skilled range of Engineering subjects
• Able to travel independently between college sites and other external venues

Desirables: Engineering Assessor

• Internal Verification Award / D34 / IQA
• Possession of or willingness to work towards teaching qualification (Cert. Ed/PGCE)
