A post has arisen at Fareham College's engineering facility (CEMAST) at Lee-on-the-Solent working within a very successful Engineering curriculum area. We are looking for a Lecturer with recent industrial experience of the aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering Industry (or a suitable lecturing background). The new post holder will be required to teach across the range of BTEC National Diplomas (Level 2 and 3 essential) offered in the department with particular responsibility for the Aeronautical units. The range of courses extends from National Diploma to Higher National Certificate.

Ideally in addition to holding a suitable teaching qualification you will be educated to degree level, or have served a formal engineering apprenticeship with relevant experience.

You should also have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage and inspire young people aged 16-19. You will either possess or be willing to achieve an advanced level teaching qualification, which will be supported financially in full by the college.
