The Role: Residential Childcare Trainer Level 3

• You will be travelling around the Merseyside area to meet with your learners in their place of work
• Your learners will be working within Residential Childcare settings and studying for their Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to level 3
• You will be delivering training on both a one to one basis and in a classroom
• You will be utilising your expertise within a residential childcare setting to broaden the skill base of your learners and pass on your enthusiasm for the sector.
• A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.

Essential Requirements: Residential Childcare Trainer Level 3

• You have worked for several years within a residential childcare setting as a Support Worker or Manager so you will understand the role and responsibilities of your learners
• You will have been training and assessing apprentices recently and understand how an apprenticeship programme works and what is expected of you the trainer and the learner
• You will have recently trained or assessed any of the following: Residential Childcare, Childcare, Early Years, Health & Social Care and have a sound understanding of residential childcare setting
• You will possess a formal assessing and training qualification
• You will possess your own transport and be able to drive

• Would be great if you've got your TAQA or I/V qualification
