CRS Education are currently looking to appoint a Librarian for a long term cover for an 'Good with outstanding features' secondary school in east  London.

The role is at is a secondary school located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The school provides a strong, dynamic education in which students are valued as individuals within a culture of celebrating achievement. They aim to achieve excellence together and inspire their children and young people to be the very best version of themselves that they can be. The School was judged to be “Good with Outstanding features” by OFSTED in a recent inspection.

The successful candidate needs:

  • To liaise with a range of staff, to better order and manage all library resources ensuring the resources benefit the staff and students.
  • To ensure that the resources in the library support the curriculum needs of the School.
  • To maintain all library records and any associated administrative tasks.
  • To provide a full customer service to learners in the library ensuring they meet the needs of the learner and the information they require.
  • Communicate with all internal stakeholders to ensure the successful operation of the library.
  • Hold a valid and current DBS.
