Special Needs Student Support Assistant - 30 hrs per week - Henley On Thames - Up to £21,500 depending upon experience / Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. - 15.30 p.m. - max 30 hours per week term time only.

The Role: Special Needs Student Support Assistant - 30 hrs per week

• Drawing upon your previous work experience dealing with young people with special needs, you will be providing teaching support.
• The learners will have a range of learning difficulties, physical disabilities and behavioural problems and other complex learning needs and you will be providing them with ongoing support.
• You may be required to look after learners' personal needs, which could involve washing, toileting, dressing and feeding., etc.
• You will be flexible and adaptable and be prepared to support and assist learners with a wide range of activities, such as swimming, horse riding, literacy, numeracy etc.

Essential Requirements: Special Needs Student Support Assistant - 30 hrs per week

• It is absolutely essential you have experience supporting young people with a wide range of learning difficulties, physical disabilities and behavioural problems and other complex learning needs.
• You will have previously worked within a classroom environment.
• You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication skills.
