Learning & Development Coach – HR
Midlands (Milton Keynes through to Birmingham)

Our client is a leading international professional skills company and is currently looking for a proactive, passionate, and committed professional to join a team of LDCs to be focused on delivering their HR apprenticeship programmes. My client needs someone who is a natural coach, someone who is excited about their role and committed to developing and passing on their knowledge to the next generation of HR Professionals. Encouraging both colleagues and customers alike.

You will be managing a caseload of learners on their HR Assistant (level 3) and HR Business Partner/Consultant programmes (level 5).
Supporting each learner to progress effectively through their programme, benefiting in the short term, laying foundations for long term career success and ensuring they successfully get through their ‘End Point Assessment’.
Interacting regularly with all your learners, whether face-to-face or virtually, utilising the technology tools they provide.

Skills/Experience:
Essential:
Relevant sector skill knowledge of the workplace and subjects (Human Resource Management, Learning & Development)
Generic workplace skills, knowledge and understanding including; written skills, teamwork, interpersonal, communication and employability
Extensive knowledge of the CIPD market and courses
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Desirable:
Formal vocational training qualification.
Experience in coaching others
Experience liaising and working with sector employers
Knowledge of sector skills, awarding and funding body regulations
Experience of using a virtual learning platform such as Moodle

Professional Qualifications and membership:
Essential:
CIPD Intermediate level in HR/L&D (or equivalent)
GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Desirable:
Associate membership of the CIPD is strongly preferred
