Standards Development Manager - Warrington based (with Nationwide Travel) - £45k - £48k (DOE & Qualifications) + Bonus / 28 days + bank, healthcare, life insurance, pensions + other benefits


The Role: Standards Development Manager

• This exciting role is calling for an Apprenticeship Standard Development professional with a strong eye for detail, to join this private training provider in managing the maintenance and development of Apprenticeship Standards, National Occupational Standards (NOS), qualifications and framework.
• Each day will be varied, whilst operating from the North West, nationwide travel will be needed, and you will also play a key part in developing occupational maps for the industries to facilitate standards development.
• This role will include intelligent research in order to be kept updated on industry changes and trends, to develop products including New Apprenticeship / Occupational Standards, training standards, courses and qualifications as required.
• You will be able to work well on your own initiative and be confident in being a key contact for stakeholders (including funding and awarding bodies, employers, EPA organisations along with industry professionals) acting as a strategic support by facilitating trailblazer groups.


Essential Requirements: Standards Development Manager

• Must have experience of Apprenticeships and Apprenticeship Standard Development including at higher levels alongside assessment systems/processes (especially around new standards)
• Have a good understanding of the National Occupational Standards, new apprenticeship reforms, qualification funding systems
• Have the ability to work at high levels with employers and stakeholder (including government departments) and be able to analyse and interpret and research data, providing recommendations
• A proactive approach to work, including keeping up to date with industry trends and consistently looking to the future


Desirables: Standards Development Manager

• Experience in a skills development role in a science based industry - particularly higher levels
