Job Title: MIS / Contracts Manager

Location: Southampton

Salary: £40,000 + Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + Much More!

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage and support the MIS, delivery and business development teams, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of ESFA contracts.
  • Lead on strategic and business planning for the centre overall.
  • Ensure all staff have a clear understanding of their measurable Targets / KPI’s, and effectively performance manage them to achieve these.
  • Lead on the growth and ensure high quality Apprenticeship and commercial training provision.
  • Ensure data is accurate, reliable and up to date, managing various learner management systems such as PICs, ProAchieve and Smart Assessor.
  • Ensure data is secure and compliant against all regulatory and statutory requirements (employers and ESFA)
  • Ensure compliant, robust quality systems which lead to excellent teaching and learning, and improved outcomes.
  • Produce monthly and annual performance reports.
  • Contribute to the self-assessment process, and implementation of improvement plans.
  • Work with your team to build, manage and maximise business opportunities with external stakeholders, ensuring our clients brand is maximised at all times.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of working within a similar MIS / Contracts Management role, within the work-based learning industry (Training Provider or College)
  • Understanding of government funding agencies such as SFA / EFA
  • Proven experience in using learner management systems, producing and analysing statistics / reports.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and management.
  • Strong knowledge of funding methodologies related to the education sector.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and on own initiative.
