The Students and Improvement Department is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with experience of careers advice and guidance.

Role Purpose

The Student Involvement Officer is responsible for student participation and engagement within the College to contribute to an overall positive experience. proving recruitment through maintaining and developing relationships with external stakeholders.


* To coordinate the enrichment activity within the College, working in conjunction with other support functions and curriculum areas.
* Work in conjunction with the Careers Centre Coordinator to support the careers delivery within the College
* Explore opportunities to fund projects and initiatives that will benefit the student body.
* To lead on student voice within the College, managing the student representatives and student voice activity.
* Liaise with external projects to support the development and enhancement of the student experience, e.g. NCS

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required

* English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or eqv
* Experience of working with students
* Understanding of the role of student representation within a FE setting
