 (West Yorkshire – Leeds / Huddersfield based)

Salary:  £24k pa f/t  + performance pay  in line with increased performance/achievement (potential earnings in excess of £30k inclusive of bonus) 

(Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5pm, 37.5 hours per week)

 We are now seeking to appoint a pro-active and highly motivated PMO/ BIT Trainer to deliver training to our  learners in the West Yorkshire area and in return for your hard work and commitment,  we can offer a competitive salary package, and excellent career development opportunities.

Summary of role and main responsibilities

- Huddersfield / Leeds Learning Centre (with travel throughout the region required) – hours of work Monday-Friday 8.30am to 5pm

- Responsible to West Yorkshire Manager

- To provide high quality training and support to learners 

General duties and responsibilities Skills /  Ability /  Communication

- To deliver relevant units of competence and assess learners progress in  PMO (Performing Manufacturing Operations) Apprenticeships and Basic Improvement Technique qualifications together with appropriate functional skills.

- To maintain a generated annual income of £75k with a minimum timely achievement rate of 70%.  

- Carry out 12 learner visits per week as a minimum.

- Prepare course work and compile relevant documentation in a timely and accurate manner

- Be responsible for the effective use of all resources.

- Assist in the development and delivery of training in both 1-1 and group situations

- Undertake additional duties commensurate with the level and salary step for the role.

- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people.

- Ability to work systematically and prioritise workload

- Demonstrate achievement of targets and working to deadlines

- Strong written and verbal communication.

- Outgoing, friendly and confident character, with good perception and motivation

- Able to respond flexibly to the demands of the role.

- Be open to Personal Development and willing to undertake further training

- Fully committed to the development of individuals/businesses. 

- Be comfortable with stand up delivery

Company Responsibilities Professional Training & Qualifications

- To maintain all records in line with YH and Funding Agency procedures and requirements

- To maintain own Continuous Professional Development with the support of YH, ensuring that minimum training hours are met and recorded & to ensure knowledge and skills remain current and up to date

- Undertake additional duties commensurate with the level and salary step for the role.

- Training Provider Experience/ Experience of Government Funded Work Based Learning (GFWBL) in alternative setting

- Vocational experience and knowledge/ proven track record of delivery 

- A1 qualification or equivalent 

- PTLLS or Learning & Development Level 3 (or equivalent)

- Full Clean Driving License 

- Access to own vehicle
