KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Work Based Learning and Welfare to Work sectors.   Job Title: Childcare Assessor   Location: Covering Dorset  / Wiltshire – Must be flexible with travel   Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 (Dependent on salary and experience)   Package includes: Generous Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + Much More!   Type: Full time, Permanent  Duties: - Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeships in Childcare up to level 3. - Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills in Maths, English and IT up to level 2. - Visit and observe learners in their place of work, to gather quality evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications. - Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. - Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs. - Provide constructive and helpful feedback to all learners. - Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. - Support, advise and motivate learners. - Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. - Work to learner review and completion time-scales. - Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload. Essential Criteria: - Must hold a Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA. - Must hold a level 3 NVQ in Childcare / Early Years or above. - Ideally have experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare levels 2/3, including Functional Skills to Level 2. - Must hold occupational competency within Childcare as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager. - Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. - Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. - Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners. - Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.  - Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours.
