Job Title: Childcare Assessor – (Level 5)

Location: London – Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £25,100 - £26,200 (including Location Allowance) + Bonus

*Trainee Assessor* Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Assessors award.

Essential Criteria for all candidates:

- Hold a Level 5 qualification in Early Years Childcare.
- Hold solid occupational experience within Early Years Childcare – at Management level.
- Confident with Maths and English – (grades C or above – or Key/Functional Skills at level 2).
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

- Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare Levels 2/3/5.
- Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to level 2.
- Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment/starts, quality paperwork and general administration.

- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.
