Fareham College offers brand new state of the art facilities comprised of workshops, teaching classrooms, learning resource centres, restaurants, a theatre, a hair & beauty salon and associated facilities. In November 2017, the College received an 'Outstanding' judgement in its latest Ofsted inspection, making it only one of three colleges in the country to have converted to the highest grade in more than two years. It doesn't stop there; we were awarded FE College of Year 2018 and "Most Improved Workplace" in Britain's Healthiest Workplace Awards 2017.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at CEMAST for a Senior Technical Officer to provide support to the Manufacturing department, which will include technician duties, as well as some teaching and assessing.

* Carrying out instruction and demonstrations on the proper use of equipment
* Assisting in the purchasing and installation of new equipment and materials when required
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the various work areas
* Delivering workshop sessions to students and associated preparation
* Assessing student portfolios

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be confident to use their initiative and able to work with students of varying abilities.
