Contract Type: Variable Hours Contract and Part Time

Hours: 15 hours per week

Our College's Apprenticeships and Work Based Health, Care and Early Years Department have an exciting opportunity for a Level 5 Health and Social Care Assessor.

The successful applicant will be required to manage a programme of individual learners undertaking the Leadership for Care at Level 5 qualification to ensure that their learning needs are identified and met appropriately, that they are provided with the necessary training, support and assessment, and that their progress is monitored in order to achieve success within identified timescales.

The post holder will be expected to coach, assist and support candidates to achieve their qualification successfully and within a reasonable time frame and under the supervision of the Programme Lead.

This may require an element of early, late and weekend working to suit availability of candidates undertaking the qualification. It also requires theflexibility to deal with varying abilities within groups, and the sensitivity to identify particular learning requirements.

It will be desirable for the post holder to also be experienced in delivery and assessment at Levels 2, 3 and 4.
