Management / Administration  Trainer  –  North Yorkshire (covering York and Scarborough)

Salary: Commencement Salary £22pa with immediate life assurance cover from commencement of employment) +  increases in line with increased performance and achievement (potential earnings up to £28k).  

We are now seeking to appoint a pro-active and highly motivated Business Administration Trainer to deliver training to our  learners in North Yorkshire and in return for your hard work and commitment,  we can offer a competitive salary package, and excellent career development opportunities.

Location / Hours / responsible to: 
York Learning Centre - York House, 15 Clifford Street, York or Scarborough  Learning Centre – 26/28 Falsgrave Road, Scarborough 
37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday although p/t hours would be considered.
Responsible to Manager – Scarborough/York.

General duties and responsibilities Skill /  Ability /  Communication
To deliver relevant units of competence and assess learners progress in Management/Business Administration Apprenticeship’s (Standards)  in the workplace and classroom environment as required. 
Deliver appropriate off the job training and confident in group delivery.
Visiting/contact with employers/apprentices every 4 weeks providing on-going support by telephone and email to ensure learning and employment progress is on target for achievement. Ensuring the apprentice and employer are following actions set ensuring continued learning and successful career path. If Apprentices are at risk of untimely progression you will work closely with all parties to achieve an effective solution.
Minimum timely learner achievement rate of 70%/75% to be attained  together with a £77k annual earnings target.  
Initial learner assessment and diagnostics.
Maintain all records in line with YH procedures together with Awarding Body and Funding Agency requirements. 
Producing and utilising innovative learning material that raise motivation and self esteem ensuring learners achieve.
Attendance at SOC meetings,  together with any other meetings as required.
Liaising and building good relationships with Job Centre/other external agencies in conjunction with Centre Manager / BDA.
Empathy with needs of client group
Ability to work systematically and prioritise workload
Demonstrate achievement of targets and working to deadlines
Able to respond quickly to change
Strong written and verbal communication.
Outgoing, friendly and confident character, with good perception and motivation
Fully committed to the development of individuals/businesses. 
Be comfortable with stand up delivery
Fully committed to financial probity. 

Company Responsibilities Professional Training & Qualifications
- To maintain own Continuous Professional Development with the support of YH, ensuring that minimum training hours are met and recorded & to ensure knowledge and skills remain current and up to date
- Be aware of and adhere to Company Policies, practices & procedures as detailed in the Employee Handbook
- Undertake additional duties commensurate with the level and salary step for the role
- To be adaptable flexible in line with contractual and funding requirements.
- Vocational and delivery experience
- A1 (or equivalent)
- Occupationally competent ideally holding an appropriate  Level 3 qualification in Administration.
- Additional Training qualification ie Learning and Development Level 3 /PTLLS or equivalent.
- Training Provider Experience preferred
