Job Title: Assessor / IQA – Management Level 3

Location: North West – must be flexible with travel

Salary:  £23,000 - £28,000 (Dependent upon Qualifications and Experience) + Bonus

Type: Full time, Permanent

Assessor Duties;

- Assess and deliver Apprenticeships in Management level 3, Business Administration levels 2/3, Team Leading level 2 and Customer Service levels 2/3 using a variety of assessment methods including; 1-1 / Groups / Virtual and Online learning.
- Provide training and support to learners completing Functional Skills (Maths and English) up to level 2 as part of the Apprenticeship.
- Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualification.
- Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
- Produce reports based on performance, gradings and learner cohort progression, against agreed learning plans.

IQA Duties;

- Internal Verification / Quality Assurance of Management Apprenticeships at level 3.
- Develop, update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
- Drive and promote continuous quality improvement.
- Provide support and carry out observations to ensure an outstanding level of assessment, teaching and learning is achieved.
- Attend / conduct regular standardisation meetings.
- Assist in the planning and running of external quality assurance and compliance visits.
- Ability to write reports and maintain records using information systems.

 Essential Criteria;

- Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
- Recognised Internal Verifier qualification; D34, V1, IQA or TAQA L4.
- Recognised teaching qualification; PTLLS or equivalent.
- Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Management up to level 3.
- Experience of delivering Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to level 2.
- Must be comfortable with, and have experience in group / classroom based training and delivery.
- Candidates must hold teaching / training delivery experience – not just holistic assessment.
- Must hold solid occupational competency within Business Administration / Management.
- Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
