Principal Teachers require qualified SEN teachers to work on a 1 to 1 basis with secondary aged children in a small and nurturing alternative education setting in the Harrogate area. The successful applicant(s) will need to have experience of working with children SEN and/or SEMH.

The successful applicant will be:

* Be experienced in teaching Secondary school children with SEN/SEMH
* Flexible and adaptable
* Enthusiastic about working with children
* Able to manage behaviour effectively
* An excellent team player
* Knowledgeable of the Secondary National curriculum requirements
* Experienced in planning and assessing to a high standard
* Committed to raising attainment
* Able to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must:

* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Be able to provide 2 teaching references covering the last 2 years
* Hold a UK Driving License (desirable)
