Principal Teachers are seeking a qualified Teacher to mentor and teach children on a 1 to 1 basis within our alternative learning provision hub. You will be working with children recognised as having Social Emotional and/or Mental Health issues (SEMH) and will be required to show patience, perseverence and a passion for re-engaging children in their education and bring them up to the same level as their peers.

* Be able to teach general secondary subjects at KS3-KS4 level
* Flexible and adaptable
* Enthusiastic about working with children with SEMH
* Able to manage behaviour effectively
* An excellent team player
* Knowledgeable of the needs of students with SEMH
* Experienced in planning and assessing to a high standard
* Committed to raising attainment
* Able to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must:

* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Be able to provide 2 teaching references covering the last 2 years
* Hold a UK Driving License (desirable)
