Salary Range: £17,100 - 18,125 pro rata

Start Date: 24th August 2018

Contract: Term Time - 39 working weeks per year + 3 Additional days for Training, Cleaning etc.

Hours: Normally Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week (0.826 FTE)

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and creative Chef de Partie who will provide high quality food across the college's outlets and at events. You will do this with attention to customer needs, budget constraints and food and waste management procedures.

You will be working in our brand-new kitchen and refurbished student social area, using state of the art facilities. We are looking for a person who together with the kitchen brigade, will deliver outstanding customer service.

You will be responsible for supporting the day to day tasks of the Head Chef, Breakfast Chef and Catering Assistants. You will take your lead from the Business Manager, Head Chef and students to ensure that the right range and variety of products are available. You will be expected to support the Head Chef in identifying potential areas for service improvement and implement changes.

A key element of the role will be to have a positive approach to delivering food to a high standard, whilst adhering to the colleges Health and Hygiene policies and be a pro-active member of the kitchen brigade.

The closing date is Friday 29 June 2018 at 9am and interviews will take place on Wednesday 4th July 2018.
