As a result of this growth, we now have a number of exciting vacancies for passionate tutors of various disciplines including construction, warehousing, health & social care and customer service.

The Role

You will be engaging and supporting learners distanced from employment and of varied ability. You will be teaching and assessing your specialism (health & social care or customer service, for example) up to Level 2 through a mixture of group learning, one-to-one sessions and via e-learning platforms. You will be effectively managing and progressing learners with varying levels of ability, to make them work ready, progress onto apprenticeships and ultimately employment.

The Individual

You should have experience of working with young people with a passion for motivating and inspiring learners.

You will be an effective communicator, able to successfully engage learners and overcome their barriers to learning. You will be able to provide fun and engaging learning sessions, supporting learners into employment. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly.

What we really value is your industry experience, therefore being able to demonstrate you have competence at level 3 in your particular specialism is essential. A recognised teaching qualification at level 4 would be advantageous too, if you do not have one, don’t worry, full training and support will be provided. Ability to teach multiple subjects would be a distinct advantage
