Principal Teachers are seeking to appoint an Advanced Teaching Assistant to commence a long term position working in an SEN setting in the Thirsk area. The succesful Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA) will need to have experience of working with children identified as SEN. The position may be available on a full time or part time basis for the right candidate.

The successful ATA will be:

* Experienced in supporting teaching and learning in an SEN setting
* Flexible and adaptable
* Passionate about teaching
* Enthusiastic about working with children
* Able to manage behaviour effectively
* An excellent team player
* Knowledgeable of your duties as a TA
* Committed to raising attainment
* Able to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must:

* Possess a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Be able to provide 2 references to cover your time working with children in the last 2 years
* Hold a UK Driving License (desirable)
