End Point Assessment Manager

Our client is a leading national apprenticeship training provider.

Job Purpose:
To provide an efficient and professional end point assessment service, responsible for managing end-point assessment referrals, bookings and services and ensure full compliance with Trailblazer end point assessment plans and quality assurance requirements. Work towards developing and continually improving EPA services to meet existing and new EPA regulatory guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
Work with the designated EPA team to build brand.
Build and administer the end point assessment process ensuring that services are delivered consistently to employers and in line with the Institute for Apprenticeships guidelines.
Contribute to the long term quality strategy for the business by setting quality goals and objectives to support improvement.
To act as a central point of contact for employers interested in the service and be an ambassador for the company always portraying the service positively.

Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Administer and manage the end-point assessment process, allocating resources and providing management information to senior management.
Implement the company’s Conflict of Interest and Fair Access to Assessment Policy.
Be responsible for the development of the end-point assessment strategy, ensuring that staff understand its application.
Participating in the annual self-assessment process.
Manage and maintain local policies and procedures to ensure the ISO 9001 accreditation is maintained.
Develop EPA skills and awareness across the team – provide guidance and support to the internal auditing team and also promote awareness of QA across the business.
Be the main point of contact for quality issues.
Maintain and develop quality processes and systems.

Essential Skills/Experience:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
IT literate with a good working knowledge of computer system applications.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to produce reports at Management level.
Good knowledge of the sector
Broad knowledge of EPA requirements
Have the ability to give guidance and support to others and to provide/obtain information from other areas of the Company.
Seek to establish an appropriate level of understanding of Government policy business activities, challenges and objectives to ensure
activities are orientated around and focussed on the achievement of business success.
Ability to review own processes and activities with the aim of achieving continuous improvement.
Self motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team
