Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineering Trainer : The essentials.

• NVQ Level 3 or HND in Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineering Qualification
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Full UK driving license and use of own car

• Sound understanding and knowledge of Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineering
• Experience as a maintenance engineer or similar
• The ability to explain things simply, concisely and effectively

• Experience providing maintenance within an automation environment
• Experience providing maintenance on robots, plcs etc.

Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineering Trainer : The role.

• Responsible for the delivery of high-quality and engaging technical training (practical, theoretical and distance based) to a caseload of apprentices in Maintenance Engineering to NVQ level 3/HND standard
• Be responsible for creating and developing the schemes of work, as well as the integration of relevant existing training offers from industry partners into the apprenticeship scheme of work
• Liaising with the company's personnel, including but not limited to Engineering Technicians and Research Engineers to ensure the apprenticeship program continues to meet the company's vision.
• Monitoring of learning environment, learner workplace Health, Safety and welfare
• Ensuring the progress of the learners is kept on top of towards all framework components with timely achievement by carrying out regular reviews
• £36,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (Includes the ability to purchase or sell up to 5 days per year)
• Life Insurance (4 times your annual salary)
• £250 towards any professional membership fees of your choice
• A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to the commencement of role is required.
