Summary of Role

To support the development and implementation of quality effectiveness strategies that will enable all programmes to be delivered in a manner that is consistent with our vision. To develop, implement and evaluate high quality resource, models and processes, providing support, coaching and mentoring to a team of Tutors enabling the achievement of all quality objectives resulting in sector-leading practices and demonstrating the highest quality learning experience for all stakeholders. To fully support with all EQA visits and track and monitor data in accordance with lead awarding body requirements. To attend sector specific meetings internally and externally and cascade to the team the information.

IQA Responsibilities
•To support the QM with the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Quality Development Plan and Self Assessment process.
•To support within the quality contributing to the achievement of business and team objectives
•To develop, monitor and maintain a staff skills matrix ensuring that staff development is planned, implemented and evaluated against business objectives
•The participate in the mentoring and facilitation of the tutor induction and ensure new staff are fully trained and effectively inducted into the Educ8 culture and systems and processes
•To ensure that our learning delivery models meet and exceeds our contractual obligations and ensure best practice.
•To provide mentoring, coaching and support to tutors and new staff to ensure they are fully equipped, trained and up to date to undertake their roles effectively
•To support the QPM to implement and evaluate appropriate CPD for tutors
•To undertake peer observations of tutors ensuring areas for improvement identified are implemented and good practice is shared across the team
•To ensure all learners receive summative quality assurance feedback
•To lead monthly standardisation meetings in order to ensure best practice is implement across all assessment methods and Essential Skill routes
•To support the QPM to develop, implement and evaluate all quality processes ensuring they are consistently followed
•To undertake learner engagement visits and telephone interviews as part of the peer observation process obtaining feedback from learners and contributing to the evaluation
•To drive forward the new Essential Skills standards and delivery model ensuring best practice and exploring a range of delivery and assessment methods
•To support a team of tutors in relation to quality ensuring realistic objectives set and liaise closely with the QPM
•To positively contribute to the development of the Quality Development Plan ensuring actions are consistently completed on time and on target
•To support the QPM to co-ordinate centre accreditation with awarding bodies ensuring direct claim status is achieved and maintained quality standards are developed and improved
•To positively contribute to internal and external inspections/audits
•To attend internal and external sector specific meeting
