Principal Teachers are seeking to recruit pool of qualified Teaching Assistants to complete supply work in primary schools within the Harrogate area. The successful applicants will be ideally qualified to Level 3 (CACHE/NCFE or equivalent) but applicants with lower level qualifications may still be considered if they have extensive experience. We are seeking General Teaching Assistants (GTAs), Advanced Teaching Assistants (ATAs), One to One Teaching Assistants (1:1 TAs), Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). You will be required to have a flexible approach to work and be confident to manage behaviour effectively. We are currently experiencing a very high demand for TAs within the Harrogate area meaning we can keep you busy with day to day, ad hoc and short term supply assignments. These may be on a full time or part time basis, which can be negotiated around your schedule, should you have other commitments. The successful applicant will have:

* A Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification or equivalent
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Previous experience of supporting teaching and learning in the UK
* Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum requirements
* Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
* The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
* Experience of supporting children with SEND (not essential)
* A commitment to improving attainment for all students
* A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
