Fully experienced in this field you will have heaps of assessing experience, specifically delivering Functional Skills, and working with Apprenticeship Training Providers. Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Officer : The essentials.

• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA)
• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Sound understanding of Microsoft packages, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook


Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Officer : Your experience.

• Minimum 3 years assessing experience, specifically delivering Functional Skills
• Occupational history and competence within the industry
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintaining records of learners progress
• Observing and assessing learners in their workplace


Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Officer : The desirables.

• Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA, AIQAPP, CLIQAAP, AEQAPP, CLEQAAP) (Must have a willingness to work towards one if haven't)


Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Officer : The organisation.

• This growing training provider delivers training for hundreds of apprentices in Gas, Power and Water, as well as Highways Construction, and Customer Services and Administration. They provide a central point for handling all of your training requirements, organising training schedules on a pre-planned or ad-hoc basis


Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Officer : The role.

• Ensure the quality assurance plan is met within the specific subjects of Power, Gas, Water & Highways Engineering
• Co-ordinate the delivery of Functional Skills to Level 2
• Undertake observations of teaching, learning and assessment
• Complete learner progress reviews are completed to a high standard
• Provide support in raising awareness of PREVENT, Safeguarding and the well being of apprentices and ensure records such as DBS are up to date
• Ensuring CPD records are maintained
• £23,000-25,000 per annum (depending on experience, qualifications and skill set)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Contributory pension scheme
• 40p mileage paid from office
