Looking for a career reboot? We're looking for and ICT aficionado to help and train fully employed people to achieve three or more of the Digital Standards for apprentices within Software Development and Programming. The Apprentices are employed people of any age who are working towards ICT qualifications, including Levels 3, 4 & 6 in various ICT disciplines, and you will be supporting them to complete those qualifications in your specialised discipline i.e. Software Development. You'll really know your stuff with heaps of field/occupational experience within ICT at an advanced level, and a degree in relevant subject. If you hold a Master’s degree, extra bonus points, but this company will fund you in completing your Master's Units if haven't already got one! Software Development Trainer/Coach : The essentials.

• Degree in relevant field - Software Development, Software Programming, Software Engineering
• Sound track record working within Software Development, programming or engineering
• Knowledge of two or more software languages
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car


Software Development Trainer/Coach : Your experience.

• Minimum 5 years field/occupational experience within ICT at an advanced level
• Sound track record working within software development, engineering or programming
• Excellent communication skills - with the ability to engage learners and deliver training in a clear an concise way
• Well organised with good administration skills


Software Development Trainer/Coach : The desirables.

• Master's Degree in relevant field (Software Development)
• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA)
• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)


Software Development Trainer/Coach : The organisation.

Software Development Trainer/Coach : The role.

• A home-based position where you would be responsible for help fully employed people achieve three or more of the Digital Standards for apprentices within Software Development and Programming.
• The Apprentices are employed people of any age who are working towards ICT qualifications, including Levels 3, 4 & 6 in various ICT disciplines, and you will be supporting them to complete those qualifications in your specialised discipline i.e. Software Development.
• Face-to-face training in Worcester, Birmingham or at Employer workplaces including Exam prep weeks and Hot Topic Knowledge/Skills days
• eModerated training and coaching delivered from Worcester via the company's Virtual Learning Environment
• Travelling around the West Midlands delivering one-to-one Coaching for apprentices
• Peripatetic 'Triangle' Reviews to establish learning goals which serve the employer, the apprentice and the national standard
• Curriculum design: schemes of work, lesson plans, materials, activities and VLE learning content
• Strict compliance with audited 'paperwork'
• Required Attendance at Meetings and Events
• £40,000 per annum (With a Masters Degree in relevant subject) or £30,000-35,000 per annum (With a degree in a relevant subject)
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
• 35p Mileage paid from home
• Company will fund you in completing your Master's Units if haven't already got one
