Nursery Advanced Practitioner

£16,110.26 per annum

1929 annualised hour’s contract

Fixed Term until 31st August 2018

The Advanced Practitioner is responsible for leading the appropriate room/unit within the Nursery. This includes developing and ensuring implementation of adult led planning with appropriate experiences and resources, establishing appropriate routines, maintaining rotas, developing the team by being a positive role model and promoting a positive atmosphere throughout the day whilst ensuring the high standards of the Nursery and National Standards are met and to update training and qualifications as deemed appropriate by management and college requirements.

Key roles include:

* To ensure a high standard of quality childcare is provided for all children placed in the Nursery, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current childcare initiatives.
* To act as a key-carer: planning appropriate developmental experiences for individual key children and maintain appropriate records.
* Work alongside the Manager/ Deputy Manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy and ethos behind Little Stars is fulfilled.

To be successful you will hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

Holding Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English will also be an essential requirement for this role.
