Construction & Built Environment Lecturer: The essentials.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Excellent personal, communication and numeracy skills


Construction & Built Environment Lecturer: Your experience.

• Occupational history and competence within the industry
• Experience in a similar role
• A clear understanding of the features of high quality teaching and learning in the post-16 sector
• Proven good standard of teaching and the ability or demonstrable potential to attain the highest standards of teaching
• A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to motivate and encourage people
• Planning and delivering vocational training programmes and workshops
• Maintaining records of learners progress


Construction & Built Environment Lecturer: The desirables.

• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
• Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA, AIQAPP, CLIQAAP, AEQAPP, CLEQAAP)

Construction & Built Environment Lecturer: The role.

• Delivering both practical and theory high quality training (Levels 3-4) within Construction and Built Environment
• Review and development of course material, including training aids, lesson plans and timetables
• Accurate assessment of learners in line with course objectives
• £20,000 - £36,000 per annum (pro rata)
• 56 days holiday plus statutory days (pro rata)
