Are you a qualified Catering lecturer looking for a new challenge in South East London?

CRS Education is delighted to be working alongside a leading Further Education College to recruit for an exciting part time position as a Chef Lecturer in Professional Cookery. This is a Part-Time role and the college are looking for someone for Fridays to start with. This is a lovely college with excellent facilities. This role is for an immediate start.

Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:

·         Have current industry experience

·         A recognised teaching qualification e.g. DTLLS, PCET or QCF level 5 Diploma in Education

·         A relevant degree/Level 4 qualification in Catering/Chef lecturer

·         GCSEs in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent.

·         Recent experience as a Catering lecturer/teacher within the Education Sector.

·         Excellent subject knowledge.

·         A proven track record of consistently good/outstanding teaching.

·         The ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resources.

·         A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

 

This School caters for young adults aged between 16 -19. They have a large site with high quality teaching and the school has around 1400 pupils on role. Within there is an inclusion unit that supports around over 100 pupils.

Successful applicants will have a good general education including GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above in English and Maths. 

The successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check and references will be taken up before interview.
